Designed for the true traditionalist, with one exception: it is designed to
be played all night without throwing your back out. The select mahogany
body gives the guitar a classic low-end growl. If features two direct mount
humbucking Alnico5 pickups with output calibrated for maximum ineraction
with an amp, for tone that ranges from smooth and creamy to the perfect
amount of grit and bite. A Three way selector switch and master volume
and tone knobs give the player full dynamic and timbral control.
The guitar is well balanced, doesn't weigh a ton, and has classic lines.
An added comfort cut for the player's arm improves ergonomics.
No need to tote around wrenches, and common intonation problems
caused by many bridges have been eliminated: A standard stop
bridge with outside height adjustment and adjustable intonation complement
the design. The hard maple neck is modeled after a late 60's design and
utilizes a tilt back headstock for increased sustain.
The scale length is 24.75 inches, resulting in the standard string
tension that vintage players are accustomed to.
